Campus Ministry
The Campus Ministry Program provides opportunities for students at Chaminade University to explore questions of meaning, to grow in their faith, to develop meaningful community, and to get outside of themselves as they respond to the needs of others through community service-learning activities. Providing these opportunities is a priority for a Catholic university in the Marianist educational tradition. They are undertaken in the spirit of ecumenism and resect for other religious traditions articulated by the Roman Catholic Church in Vatican II.
Programs include opportunities for a full liturgical and sacramental life, retreats, prayer, small faith communities, community service, spiritual guidance, and deeper involvement with the issues facing the human community through the lens of Catholic Social Teaching. Through all its programs, Campus Ministry promotes a spirit of faith, service and supportive community.
