Chaminade University is located on a hillside in Honolulu, approximately two miles above the ocean and the beach at Waikiki. From the campus, there is a spectacular view of the Pacific extending from Lēʻahi (Diamond Head) to downtown Honolulu. This commanding site is only minutes away from the central city and its cultural and recreational activities. At any one time, some 2,500 to 2,800 students are enrolled at Chaminade, the majority are residents of Hawaiʻi or from the U.S. mainland. Chaminade also attracts many students from the islands of the Pacific: Samoa, Guam, Micronesia, Marianas, Marshall Islands, and other nations.
